About
A kunji you stop needing
In Indian schools, a kunji is the guide book — the one that explains the thing the textbook assumed you already knew. That is the whole intention here.
What this is
A free curriculum in five tracks — charts, options, risk, psychology, and tax — for people trading Indian markets who want to understand what they are looking at rather than be told what to do about it.
Every idea is drawn before it is discussed. If a concept cannot be put in a picture, it usually has not been understood well enough to teach, and writing more words about it does not fix that.
Who it is for
Someone who has opened a trading account, placed a few trades, and discovered that the gap between "I know what a call option is" and "I know what I just did" is enormous. No prior background is assumed. Nothing here requires a finance degree.
How the charts are made
Every chart on this site is drawn from constructed data — invented open, high, low and close values, chosen so the structure being taught is clean enough to see. Real charts are noisy, and a teaching example that is 80% noise teaches the noise.
This is marked on every figure. Nothing here is a picture of a real security, and no figure should be read as a comment on one.
How it is paid for
The lessons and tools are free and stay free. The cohort is paid: a guided four weeks with a workbook and live sessions. That is the entire business model — teaching, sold as teaching.
Who runs it
ChartKunji is an independent project, published from India. Questions, corrections and disagreements are welcome at support@chartkunji.com — corrections especially. If something on this site is wrong, it gets fixed and the change is noted.
